Squam Lake in the Fall...
Visit us during the Fall foliage season for an amazing leaf peaking experience. The Squam Lake area becomes a magnificent patchwork of bright colors when comes Fall, which make the Lake Region a prime destination for Leaf Peaking Season. There is no other place where the Fall colors combine with such harmony with the clear blue of the Lake and the patchy white cotton ball clouds rolling slowly on the Lake. While endangered throughout New England, Loons can be frequently spotted on Squam lake (pictures below taken in Fall 2019). Bring or rent kayaks and go explore and search for these beautiful and majestuous birds. To find where to rent boats near the cabin, visit the "Activities" page.
